What would the recipe for a cake we cannot eat look like? In this workshop, we will design a dish by focusing on preparation as a creative and collective act. Stepping away from the imperative of taste, we will reflect together on the process of culinary creation: the inspiration behind a recipe, the selection and gathering of ingredients, and finally its execution. Our hands, however, will not be covered in flour but in other, non-edible materials—the ingredients of our “good-to-look-at” cakes.
