Lecture
touch me please—love as body horror is a lecture performance that contemplates on the transformative force of contamination. A journey across various spheres of knowing, acting: from biomedical reading of the body through immunology and (bio-)politics, to the uncertain fate of a trash island, this experiment strives to contribute to our ever evolving understanding and creative engagement with the self-other relation, blending and blurring of various borders that are inherently convoluted and entangled.
It serves as a preliminary answer to the question: how can we foster a relational and processual attitude to the world as a given, beyond the narrative of essentialist claims and reactive desires to confine life as a pure form?
