During their residency at Scuola Piccola Zattere in July 2025, artist Nikima Jagudajev presented Basically, an evolving performance project conceived as a living, adaptive ecosystem. The work unfolded through choreographic scores, playful interactions, and shared activities between performers and audiences, transforming the venue into a participatory environment shaped by collective presence and exchange.
Central to the project was the idea of “re-schooling,” which framed the work as an inquiry into informal modes of learning, collaboration, and coexistence. Rather than reproducing structured educational models, Basically proposed spontaneous, shared situations in which knowledge and social relations were continuously negotiated through doing, playing, and being together.
