On May 7, Scuola Piccola Zattere will open the solo exhibitions by Nikima Jagudajev and Rachel Youn, featuring new commissions developed by the artists during their residencies at the institution. 

These projects fall under the heading Dance Around the Rule, a year-long research program that unfolds through various formats, including fellowships, commissions, live events, and educational activities. 

LIKE by Nikima Jagudajev is a new commission that translates the choreographic project Basically into the language of video games.
The work combines an interactive digital environment with documentary footage, unfolding as a non-linear narrative set in a virtual high school, where the audience can influence the story.

Unruly Vessel by Rachel Youn presents new works alongside a selection of recent pieces. Engaging with repetitive gestures and rituals of contemporary life, Youn combines wellness devices with artificial plants, creating kinetic sculptures in perpetual motion that reflect on and question human dynamics, both individual and collective.
