At the Galeazze of the Arsenale Nord in Venice, Faustin Linyekula presented The Galeazze Project, a performance created in collaboration with musician Heru Shabaka-Ra and curated by Edoardo Lazzari. The project emerged in response to the monumental architecture of the Galeazze, reactivating the site as a space for artistic production and encounters between bodies, sound, and movement. Through a practice that interweaves choreography, storytelling, and music, Linyekula engaged local performers and musicians in a site-specific process, transforming the building into an evolving performative environment where light, space, and presence generated new forms of relationship.
