As part of the public programme The Museum in Draft: Provisional Formats for Multispecies Mediation, curated by Lisa Andreani, Studio Coquille led the workshop The Habitable Skin: Practicing Porous Coexistences, dedicated to architecture as a space of relationship between human and more-than-human species. Through an investigation of the Scuola Piccola Zattere building and its surroundings, participants explored new possibilities for ecological coexistence, considering the “skin” of architecture as a porous, habitable, and ever-evolving threshold. The workshop proposed a collective reflection on how built environments can become devices for care, mediation, and shared coexistence.
