Oltreforma presents DOLCE, a family workshop dedicated to food.

When we think of a traditional dessert, we recall its taste, aroma, texture, the time of year we share it with loved ones, and the atmosphere in Venice during that season — like frittelle during Carnival or San Martini in mid-November. But do we really know how it was created? All the elements that compose it? The process that made it a tradition?

Inspired by the art of the spice merchants and the figure of the spezier, we will explore and taste together spices, herbs, aromas, and mixtures created by the chefs of ABC Zattere – Arte, Bar e Cucina, then experiment collectively in the creation of special recipes. Each element used will carry its own story, meanings, and unique personal sensations.
